Dr DisRespect has been playing the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare beta and he has some strong opinion
The Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare early access beta on PlayStation 4 dropped last night, to the delight of fans who have been waiting to try out the blockbuster-to-be themselves. Popular streamers were also keen, especially Dr DisRespect. He has been showing off his multiplayer skills playing the beta and will be all over the release of the full game when it launches on 25 October.
Dr DisRespect’s streams usually revolve around battle royale titles like Apex Legends and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but if there is a competitive playlist and if the rumoured battle royale mode is real, he will be dedicating full stream times to Modern Warfare.
‘If there’s a competitive playlist attached this, yes. When you play competitive it feels like you’re working towards something. It feels like every match you play there’s something on the line,’ the Doc said when asked if he’d keep playing.
From what he played of the beta he seems to have had a good time and will no doubt continue playing, but as the battle royale genre is his focus the rumour of a mode being added, or released as a separate game, is the deciding factor.
‘If they do add a battle royale, woo! I mean, that’s…’ Dr Disrespect said before pointing to himself in indication for his love for the genre.
For those waiting for the closed beta to end, don’t worry as the open beta begins on Saturday, 14 September – so you only have to wait one more day on PlayStation 4. Xbox One and PC users will have to wait a bit longer as the cross-play early access beta begins on 19 September and the open beta starts on the 21 September.
